A 23-year-old person was killed and another injured following a shooting incident at the Embulgama Junction in Hanwella this evening, police said.
Accordingly, a gang which had arrived on a van had opened fire at two persons and fled the scene. Later the injured persons were admitted to the Homagama hospital where one of the persons succumbed to his injuries.
