SJB MP Patali Champika Ranawaka has warned President Ranil Wickremesinghe of another public uprising if Wickremesinghe fails to perform after taking over the presidency.
Champika said Ranil had become President during a very challenging period and because of this the opposition would not criticize him now.
"Some tried to send him away on August 9 and September 9. However, people haven’t shown much interest towards that. But there will be another public uprising if he failed to carry out his responsibilities," he warned.
