SLPP MP Namal Rajapaksa has been appointed Chairman of the Oversight Committee on International Relations, Parliament media unit said.
Commenting on the appointment on Twitter, MP Rajapaksa said he was honoured to be appointed to the post.
Meanwhile, MP Chamal Rajapaksa was appointed chairman of the Committee on Privileges and Ethics. The chairmanship of the Privilege committee was previously held by Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe.
