Hatton National Bank (HNB) SC beat Sri Lanka Navy SC 61-48 and won the Dialog National Netball Championship 2019, held at Digana indoor stadium Kandy yesterday (15).
The event was conducted by Sri Lanka Netball Federation with participation of 23 teams. In the final, the score of the first quarter was 13-14 and was lead by Navy with one point. Second quarter (15-12), third (17-11) and fourth quarter (16-11) was lead by HNB. The final score marked as 61-48 and HNB won the game.
At the semi final round, HNB beat Port Authority by 49-28 and SL Navy beat Kurunegala district team by 47-20. Both the winning teams qualified for the finals. At the third place match, Kurunegala district team beat Port Authority by 35-33.
