Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by 13 runs to win the third and final Twenty20 International at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore yesterday, routing the world number one team 3-0 in the series.
Sri Lanka scored 147 for seven with debutant Oshada Fernando scoring a brilliant 48-ball 78 not out with three sixes and eight boundaries.

Pakistan were then undone by leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga who took three for 21 as they managed to score only 134 for six in 20 overs.

Sri Lanka won the first match by 64 runs and the second by 35 runs - both in Lahore.

Earlier, Sri Lanka, compiled a challenging 147 for seven with Oshada Fernando playing the sheet anchor role.  The 27-year-old middle order batsman rescued his team from a difficult situation after they had collapsed to 58 for four in the eighth over.

The aggressive right-hander made his presence felt and raced to his half century from just 33 deliveries inclusive of one six and six boundaries.

Sri Lanka made five changes to check their bench strength, bringing in Sadeera Samarawickrama, Angelo Perera, Oshada Fernando, Lahiru Madushanka and Lahiru Kumara.
They replaced Minod Bhanuka, Shehan Jayasuriya, Avishka Fernando, Isuru Udana and Nuwan Pradeep.

Pakistan left out the misfiring Ahmed Shehzad and Umar Akmal while fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain was rested.

They were replaced by Haris Sohail, Iftikhar Ahmed and Usman Shinwari.
