The last days of a political party?

Some Blue Diyawanna politicos who once vowed to protect the ‘Hand’ symbol are said to be now making overtures to the Green party. Even the Kalutara rebel who came forward to protect the party making a big bang also made a retreat at the eleventh hour. 

The Blue Diyawanna politicos seeking refuge in the Green party, are to switch the political camp through the heritage party. Negotiations they have already held with the heritage party are said to be a success, they say. 

The ultimate aim of the heritage party leaders, quick to make hay while the sun shines, is to devour what is left of the Blue party lock stock and barrel, they say.
