A leader of a political front in the upcountry estate sector had recently called on a leading astrologer in India to get a reading of his political future.

A leader of a constituent of the ruling coalition, this politico also holds a portfolio at the top team level. He has already assured the Green party of his continuing support.

After getting a reading of his political future, the politico had asked the astrologer to give an account of the country’s political future as well.

While commenting on the outcome of the series of national polls round the corner, the astrologer had named the de facto leader of the next government as well.

On his return home, this politico had briefed another minor party leader on the predictions made by the Indian astrologer and had asked him: “Malli, what is the stand we should take now, given the political scenario in store for us?”

The friendly minor political party leader had asked the upcountry counterpart whether he believed all what the astrologer predicted.

The upcountry politico had replied: “I have been consulting this astrologer for the last 25 years and none of his predictions had proven wrong so far!” .
