A U.S. federal judge has ordered social media website Twitter to hand over documents connected to WikiLeaks to the Justice Department, according to court documents.

The San Francisco-based website must hand over information associated with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and U.S. Army Pfc. Bradley Manning, along with several others, according to court documents unsealed recently.

Manning is under arrest and suspected of leaking information to the WikiLeaks site. The court order, originating from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, details many documents that it wants Twitter to hand over.

Among the items are "subscriber names, user names, screen names, mailing addresses, residential addresses," the court order says.
