Director General of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Tedros Adhanom said that Sri Lanka is on track to fully vaccinate 10 percent of its population ahead of the vaccine equity target in September.
“Glad to see that #SriLanka is on track to fully vaccinate 10% of its population ahead of the #VaccinEquity September target! Thanks to the Government and people of Flag of Sri Lanka for their efforts, and continued vigilance on proven public health and social measures to suppress the virus,” he tweeted.

When the vaccines were developed the WHO did not praise the manufactures. When the US, UK, Israel, EU etc vaccinated their population the WHO was silent. The Yuan does the talking now.
