Sri Lanka’s Dinara de Silva and Japan’s Junya Kawamura clinched the Girls’ and Boys’ singles titles of the ITF Junior Circuit J30 Week 3 tennis tournament when they came out on top in the two finals played at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo.

The two champions won their matches with identical winning margins of two sets to nil, with Dinara overcoming Shiwali Gurung of Nepal and Junya getting the better of Patrick Grigore of Russia.

This was Dinara’s seventh ITF J30 title win, having earlier won four in Sri Lanka and two in Pakistan, while for Junya it was a back-to-back title win, having won the Week 2 tournament played last week.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka’s Ganuka Fernando, partnered by Alfaradu Sumirat of Indonesia, bagged the Boys’ doubles title, recording a two-sets-to-nil win against the pair of Bing-Huan Tsal of Taipei and Yu Ting Wu of China, while Shiwali Gurung of Nepal made amends after losing the Girls’ singles title by winning the doubles title, partnered by Ha-an Park of Korea, securing a win against Yeon Joo Cha of Korea and Akari Oda of Japan.
