Former Thomian and Trinity College cricket ‘Lion’, Duvindu Tillakaratne is going great guns playing his first season of cricket in England, taking over fifty wickets in his maiden season. He crossed the landmark after playing just six matches.
Tillakaratne’s latest performance came against Wigan Cricket Club where the left-arm spinner, representing Orrell Red triangle Cricket Club, took a magnificent 7 for 24. Duvindu is the son of former Sri Lankan cricketer and present Women’s national team Head Coach, Hashan Tillakaratne.
