All England Senior Badminton Championships: Nadeesha bags Gold and Silver

Seasoned Sri Lankan masters shuttler Nadeesha Gayathri delivered an impressive performance at the Yonex All England Senior Badminton Championships held in London, securing two medals in the Over-40 category.

She won the gold medal in the Women’s Over-40 Singles event, showcasing her dominance throughout the competition. Nadeesha also added a silver medal in the Mixed Over-40 Doubles category, completing a strong overall campaign at the prestigious tournament.

The championships, which ran from April 10–12, featured top masters-level players from around the world and marked the 108th edition of the historic event.

Nadeesha, who was one of the standout performers at last year’s Ceylon Masters International Championship, has continued her strong form across multiple international masters tournaments, adding another notable achievement to her career record.
