Over 200 entries received for Sabaragamuwa TT tournament

The Sabaragamuwa Province Table Tennis Association has received over 200 entries for the All Island Open Ranking Table Tennis Championship.

This tournament will be worked off on March 20 and 21 at the Municipal Council Indoor Stadium in Kegalle, according to the Sabaragamuwa Province association Secretary Thushara Sampath.

This is the second regional tournament to be conducted in 2021 following the COVID-19 outbreak. Western Province conducted their tournament in March at Mount Lavinia.

The age group events for the Sabaragamuwa tournament have been restricted to Under-15 and Under-18 following health guidelines in addition to Open events for both men and women. The age group competitions will be held on March 20 followed by the men’s and women’s Open events on March 21.
