Kandy SC crowned league champions for eighth consecutive season, win 23rd title

Kandy Sports Club clinched the inter-club rugby league title at Nittawela bookending an unbeaten season with a 29-10 win over CR &FC. 

It took a stellar second half effort from Kandy to seal their eighth consecutive league title, and 23rd overall, having trailed 10-00 at half-time. 

CR & FC scored a converted try and a penalty in the first half, before Kandy stormed back to score four tries, three of which were converted, and a penalty after the half-time break.
