Commemoration of Silver Jubilee of ’96 World Cup win

Yesterday was the 25th anniversary of Sri Lanka’s first and so far only Cricket World Cup win, with a commemoration event organized at Temple Trees. Almost all those who were a part of that World Cup squad were present at the event last morning, where a commemorative stamp was launched and the players received their winners’ medals.
