Final Randoli Perahera and water cutting ceremony of the Sri Dalada Maligawa

The final Randoli Perehera of  the Kandy Sri Dalada Maligawa Esala festival paraded the streets on Monday night (19)   
It was followed by the water cutting ceremony in the early hours of last morning in the Mahaweli river at Getambe and the day procession that marked the end of the Kandy Esala festival this year.   
The day procession consisting of processions from the four Devalas proceeded to the Gedige Rajamaha Vihara and from there to the water cutting ceremony at Getambe.
