Self proclaimed spiritual healer Eliyantha White infected with COVID-19

• White, drew criticism from the public for dropping pots filled with a concoction into the rivers, as part of a ritual to eradicate COVID-19 from Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka's controversial self-proclaimed spiritual healer, Eliyantha White has contracted COVID-19 and has been admitted to a private hospital in Colombo. Hospital sources said his condition is stable.  

The controversial White, recently drew criticism from the public for dropping pots filled with a concoction into the rivers, as part of a ritual to eradicate COVID-19 from Sri Lanka. This was followed by former Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi, Minister Udaya Gammanpila and Minister Prasanna Ranatunga also doing the same as part of a ritual.
