The De Lanerolle Brothers are all set to put on yet another fantastic show at the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Colombo on Monday, the 24th of October. Audiences can look forward to enjoying a retro evening at this theatre-style concert featuring hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror Life, Rohan De Lanerolle shared, “We are back on stage live with our band after about 2.5 to 3 years. We had our Christmas concert last year, but of course, they were with backing tracks. This time we are performing with our band which is called DLB squared and comes under the De Lanerolle Brothers arm”. The band, which consists of 10 musicians, will be performing with the De Lanerolle Brothers at the Grand Ballroom for the very first time. “Over the last 14 years of the De Lanerolle Brothers’ existence, we never had the band play inside the ballroom for a show. So it’s a very unique experience, and it is really very exciting even for Ishan and me, because it adds a completely different dimension to the performance”.

Rohan added that fans of the De Lanerolle brothers will be in for yet another uniqu DLB experience this time because the De Lanerolle Cousins will join in a guest performance for the very first time.  “My son Yohan and Ishan’s daughter Kavya - we don’t want to give out too much right now - but they’re going to be doing quite a few songs, so it will add a different flavour to the performance. So even though we’ve advertised ourselves as the 60s, 70s and 80s, these 2 will be signing more of the 90s and 2000s hits”.

This time around, the De Lanerolle Brothers have departed from their typical sit-down dinner shows in favour of cocktails. Rohan elucidated that this decision was made after much consideration of the current state of the country.

Cocktails will be from 6 pm - 6.45 pm and the show will start at 7 pm and end at 8.30 pm. Tickets priced at Rs 10,000 can be purchased  by calling the DLB hotline - 0777 996 991.
