Wimal under home-quarantine after several security officers contract COVID-19

Industries Minister Wimal Weerawansa has been placed under home quarantine after several police officers working in his security details were identified as Covid 19 infected.

Minister Weerawansa said that he had decided to self quarantine at his home for 14 days from yesterday as he was an associate of the officers who were identified as infected.   The Minister said that his office in the Ministry of Industries has also been disinfected and it will remain closed for 14 days.
