Three frontline Galle Face protest movements, which had physically pulled out from the ‘GotaGoGama’ aragalaya few days ago, met with President Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday to discuss a reconciliation process between the government and the Aragalakaruwo.

In response to a letter sent by Black Cap Movement on Tuesday requesting for a discussion with the President, an invitation had been received by them for a meeting yesterday afternoon, which was also attended by two other leading movements, Liberal Fellowship and Sarva Pakshika Aragalakaruwo.

The Black Cap Movement issuing a statement earlier said that they need to work out a reconciliation process between the government and the aragalakaruwo, as the latter being subjected to a spate of arrests and suppression since recently.  The outcome of the meeting was yet to be learnt at the time this edition went to press last evening.
