Special Party-Leaders’ meeting today

• controversial  Colombo Port City Economic Commission Bill to be discussed

A special meeting of Government party leaders is scheduled  to be held under the patronage of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at  Temple Trees today.   

According to Government sources, a number of issues are  expected to be discussed at this meeting, including the controversial  Colombo Port City Economic Commission Bill. It was reported that May Day meetings and the Provincial Council Elections Act are also to be discussed at the meeting.
