Schools to close today due to fuel crisis

• Teachers who are supervising the GCE Ordinary Level examination were asked to report for duty

The Education Ministry has decided to close all government and state-approved private schools today owing to the current fuel crisis.  

Accordingly the first school term ended from yesterday May 19 while the second term is expected to begin on June 6 2022.  

Those teachers who are supervising the GCE Ordinary Level examination were asked to report for duty.
