Ranil holds discussions with several opposition MPs

• Discussions have been on fielding new candidates at the next general elections

UNP MP Ranil Wickremesinghe held discussions with a number of opposition MPs on their future political journey, sources close to Mr. Wickremesinghe said yesterday. 

Sources said he held discussions with the MPs throughout this week at the parliamentary complex. He has had discussions with some SJB and TNA MPs according to sources.   One of the main points of discussion have been fielding new candidates at the next general elections as it seems that some of the MPs may not be elected to Parliament next time.
