Prez, PM and Basil have power to restrict spread of Covid-19

• He said by controlling the spread of the disease, the trio could  strengthen the tourism industry, increase exports and so on   

A Cabinet Minister yesterday said the President, Prime Minister and Basil Rajapaksa have the power to restrict the spread of Covid-19 in the country.   

Minister of Ports and Shipping Rohitha Abeygunawardena addressing an SLPP media briefing said President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, PM Mahinda Rajapaksa and Basil Rajapaksa, who will be sworn in as a Member of Parliament today have such capacity.   

He said by controlling the spread of the disease, the trio could strengthen the tourism industry, increase exports and so on.
