LAUGFS lowers 12.5kg cylinder price by Rs.1,050

The price of a 12.5kg domestic LAUGFS gas cylinder was reduced by Rs. 1,050 from midnight yesterday, LAUGFS Holdings founder and Chairman W.K.H. Wegapitiya said.

Accordingly, the new retail price of the 12.5 kg gas cylinder will be Rs. 5,800.

The selling price of a 5 kg gas cylinder will be Rs. 2,320 and the selling price of a 2 kg gas cylinder will be Rs. 928 from tonight.

The price reduction is mainly due to the fluctuation in global gas prices, the chairman said.
