Increase in use of ICE, tobacco related items among children: NDDCB

There is a new trend of increasing use of synthetic drugs known as “ICE” (methamphetamine crystals) among schoolchildren, the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (NDDCB) said. 

A senior NDDCB official said that parents should pay close attention to activities of their children.   


It was reported that the use of ICE, heroin, and tobacco related products had become a increasing trend among schoolchildren. Using certain medications tablets used as psychotropic drugs has become a trend. The majority of them claimed that  ICE isotope helps them to stay awake longer. 


Once they use ICE, they might need another three days of sleep to relax the brain and body.


He further mentioned the use of these dangerous and harmful substances will not only exacerbates existing issues it would also create new ones.
