Cardinal calls for holding of LG polls in March

• Says will be an opportunity for people in Sri Lanka  to express themselves

Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith called for the holding of local government elections in March next year. 

Speaking during his sermon at a Mass held to mark the feast of Sacred Hearts Church Ragama, Cardinal Ranjith said he will request the Commission of Elections to hold the local government elections at least in March next year.
