Wine stores in the vicinity of May Day demo, rallies to be shut after 12.00 noon

The Commissioner General of Excise Department has ordered that all liquor outlets in the vicinity of the roads where the May Day demonstrations and rallies are taking place, should be closed from 12.00 noon today until the end of the day.

The Excise Department said that the Police has already announced the routes of the demonstrations and the venues for the rallies to mark the May Day.
