A vessel carrying 37,500 metric tons of petrol will arrive in the country today, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) said.
CPC Chairman Sumith Wijesinghe said the fuel would arrive in Sri Lanka under the Indian credit line.
The CPC said that the stock of petrol will be sufficient for about 25 days.
Meanwhile, the CPC said that 41,000 metric tons of diesel which arrived yesterday is currently being unloaded.(DSB)
