Trains will run as usual tomorrow; no intimation about strike: Railways dept.

The Railways Department today stated that they have decided to continue operating trains as usual, Media Spokesman for Sri Lanka Railways, A.D.G. Seneviratne said.

He said none of the railway unions have informed the department about their trade union action, which is scheduled to begin tonight.

However, several trade unions said they would launch their trade union action in solidarity with the nationwide hartal tomorrow. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
