Thread of sackcloth found in sprat curry served in press canteen in Parliament

A fairly long piece of thread used for sackcloth was found in sprat curry served at press canteen in Parliament today.

A journalist found it while having his lunch at press canteen this afternoon.

This journalist told his colleagues that he had handed over the piece of thread to a staff member attached to house keeping department.

Meanwhile, two policemen were reported to have fallen ill with stomatch infection on Thursday after consuming a contaminated fish currey at the staff canteen.
