Speaker agrees to place motion against Prez in Order Book: Sumanthiran

Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardhane today agreed to place in the Order Book the Motion against the President under Article 42 with one amendment, TNA MP M.A. Sumanthiran said.

He said in a twitter messege that the decision was made at the Party Leader’s meeting this morning.

He said the Party Leader’s will meet again on Wednesday (11) to decide on the date of the debate on this.
