Restraining order issued over commemorating LTTE cadres

Two Restraining Orders had been issued by the Mannar and Vanni Magistrate Courts today over commemoration ceremonies of LTTE members, the Police said.

Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said that the commemoration ceremonies were scheduled to be held in the coming week in the Vavuniya and Mannar areas.

He said the Police will take stern action against those who violate the Restraining Order.
