Power cut schedule until Saturday issued

The power cut schedule from tomorrow (28) to Saturday (30) for three hour and twenty minutes was announced today, the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) said.

They said approval for tomorrow's power shedding was granted following a request from the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).

Accordingly, power shedding will be imposed in the areas that come under A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W category, for two hour from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm and one hour and twenty minutes from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm. 

Area marked as CC will be subject to a three-hour power cut from 6.00 am to 9.00 pm
