New Chairman, members appointed to Sri Lanka Press Council

Colombo, April 02 (Daily Mirror) - A new Chairman and three members have been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Sri Lanka Press Council by the Minister of Health and Mass Media Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa.

The appointment letters were presented during a ceremony at the Ministry of Mass Media.

Veteran journalist Priyan R. Wijebandara has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Sri Lanka Press Council.

Dr. Anushka Kahandagamage, a Supreme Court lawyer, along with journalists Mahisha Mudugamuwa and Devadasan Sendilvevaler, were also appointed as members of the Board of Directors.
