JVP reveals alleged fraud of Rajapaksas, Sajith, several others

The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) today revealed documents exposing corruption involving Namal Rajapaksa, Yoshitha Rajapaksa, Basil Rajapaksa, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and several others.

JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake in a special event held at Foundation Institute revealed that they had over 500 files on politicians, former ministry secretaries, and investigative officers involved in defrauding public funds.

In his disclosure, he said Yoshitha Rajapaksa and Namal Rajapaksa and Basil Rajapaksa had defrauded public money through Nimal Perera and Thirukumar Nadesan.

The files revealed included the France Air Bus deal, Gin Nilwala project, Krrish Deal, Hedging Deal and Hello Corp Deal.

He also revealed that Sajith Premadasa had misused Rs. 3 billion funds of the Central Cultural Fund without proper approval. (Ajith Siriwardana)
