It is my fault I didn’t attend NSC meeting on Rambukkana incident- PM

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa said today that though he was invited to the National Security Council (NSC) meeting to discuss the Rambukkana incident, he chose not to attend.

In response to Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa's criticism as to why the Premier was not invited to the NSC meeting to discuss the Rambukkana incident, the PM said “I was invited. But i did not attend. It’s my fault. But I was briefed on the progress that evening," he told Parliament.
