IGP, senior police officers appear before HRCSL over Rambukkana shooting

The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) has summoned a group of police officers including IGP C.D. Wickramaratne, over the Rambukkana incident in which a protester was killed during a shooting by police.

Accordingly, the IGP, the DIG in charge of Central Province, the Senior Superintendent of Police in charge of Kegalle, and the OICs of Kegalle and Rambukkana appeared before the HRCSL at 11 a.m. today.
