Fire destroys four-storey building at Pannipitiya

A fire broke out at a four-storey building at Pannipitiya in Maharagama early this morning, police said.

They said that a paper bag manufacturing company has been located in the building.

The fire brigade teams of the Dehiwala and Kotte Municipal councils managed to douse the fire with the assistance of police and the residents.

Police said the building was completely destroyed in the blaze but no injuries were reported.
