Boy dragged away by crocodile while bathing

A 15-year-old boy who was bathing in the Maneruwa Lake in Anuradhapura was dragged away by a crocodile last evening.

Police said three boys have gone to bath in the lake when one of them was dragged away by the predator.

The deceased boy was a grade 11 student at the Maneruwa Maha Vidyalaya. The body of the boy was recovered by the police this morning.
