440,000 MT of petrol arrive from India

Delivering on India's commitment to the people of the country, yesterday it freighted a 440,000 MT of petrol, the Indian High Commission in Colombo said.

They said with the current stock, Sri Lanka has received around 440,000 MT of various types of fuel from India and said more to come in the future.

Meanwhile, power and energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera thanked the Indian government's commitment to provide continued support to the people of Sri Lanka. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
