A politico fresh from a sojourn in the state lodge, has reportedly defaulted on payment for medicines worth Rs. 150,000 purchased from a pharmacy, they say.
He deliberately avoids settling the bill in respect of the medicines purchased on credit using his political clout, according to knowledgeable sources.
The owner of the pharmacy is said to be highly worried about being unable to recover the cost of the medicines sold to the politico, but the latter seems to be totally unconcerned about fulfilling his obligation, they say.
