Two young minor party leaders who have become prominent mouthpieces of the JO are becoming increasingly unpopular among some Pohottuwa front-liners, they say.
Both known to be crowd pullers with a flair for mob oratory.
One Pohottuwa stalwart, who had taken a dislike to the young duo had met the former strongman and told him: “Sir, these two chaps don’t conform to our ways. So, let us sideline them before proceeding on our political journey!”
The former strongman reacted to this suggestion with anger. He told the Pohottuwa stalwart: “First find me two equally good orators capable of speaking as effectively as they do on our behalf on a political platform and in TV debates. Then I will consider your request to sideline them!”
Turning to another Pohottuwa high-up seated close to him, the former strongman had added: “When the need of the hour is to win new friends, people like this one want to drive away the ones already with us. These people have forgotten that we are still in the Opposition!”
