A purohita at state level who had an ailment in a foot had undergone herbal massage therapy at the Diyawanna Pancha Karma Treatment centre.
The purohita who had been walking with a pronounced limp had fully recovered after the affected foot being treated with an herbal massage.
However, the purohita, instead of thanking the therapist for relieving him of his problem had berated him for coming to work after a betel chew.
“But I don’t chew betel while on duty,” the therapist had protested.
“It is a case of chewing – a bad habit – no matter whether you do it while working or not! Mama balagannam!” the purohita had warned.
