“My first aim is to entice them to spend their retirement in Sri Lanka, offering them the concept of ‘come back and live in Sri Lanka’. I also hope to woo other nationalities of senior citizens based in overseas to come and spend their retirement in these apartments,” Rangiri Holdings Managing Director Nihal Pathirage said.
He has also embarked on a mission to construct leadership training centres and establish plantation projects.
“The training centres are more or less outbound training centres, which provide youth edutainment. We want to start centres in Hanwella, Kiinocjchi and Welioya.
The next coconut triangle in the country is to come up in Troncomalle, Mannar and Jaffna. Therefore, I plan to go in for coconut, fruit and vegetable cultivation in these areas. I have requested lands for these projects.”
