Three persons were arrested during a raid on a fake documents centre in Wattala on Saturday, police said.
The Negombo Special Crimes Investigation Unit officers had arrested the suspects, residents of Wattala, Ganemulla and Maradankadawala with several fake documents and rubber seals. Accordingly, the police found 18 fake rubber seals of Land Registry Office, Court, Attorney-at-law, Principals, Sri Lanka Port Authority, Divisional Secretariat, Grama Niladhari officers and several government officer’s seals during the raid.
The suspects, aged between 39 and 63 would be produced in the Negombo Magistrate’s Court.
