The Health Ministry has granted the approval for the use of US produced Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines as the second dose for those who were administered with the AstraZeneca COVISHIELD vaccine as the first dose.
Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals State Minister Prof. Channa Jayasumana confirmed this today adding that Health Ministry’s Advisory Committee on Communicable Diseases has granted approval for this use.
Accordingly, he said a total of one million doses of Moderna jabs and 26,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine are to be delivered to Sri Lanka within first week of the next month. (Sheain Fernandopulle)

At least some good news to be cheer about after an incompetent and half-hearted approach from the relevant authorities. They must have sorted out the commissions problem it seems.
