A 50-year-old COVID-19 patient died while receiving treatment at the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH), reporting the 14th COVID-19 death in Sri Lanka, the Health Ministry said.
The victim was a female from Kuliyapitiya.

Sorry to hear the demise of yet another innocent victim of COVID-19. The situation is worse than the last instance, but this government and authorities do not have the courage to accept that COVID-19 has reached the "community-level spread" now. You can't fool all the people all the time though many Sri Lankans are in fact morons and accept and believe whatever said by the government. How sad?

This is uncontrollable is a country like sri lanka. 90% of people have no discipline to wear a mask properly. Please open the country. Otherwise people will die out of starvation.
