UNP hints RW to play a major role soon?

UNP Chairman Vajira Abeywardene today hinted that there will be a national consensus soon where all the parties will get together to resolve the crisis which Sri Lanka has been plunged into and Ranil Wickremesinghe will play a major role in it.

Abeywardedne told a press conference that the need of the hour was to establish a national consensus forgetting party politics.

"It is also essential to hand over the nation to the best person who could pull the country through from the present economic crisis. The best person who could handle the economy is Mr. Wickremesinghe,” Abeywardene said.

“ I think and feel that the former Prime Minister will become the custodian of the nation,” Abeywardene said in response to a question raised by journalists as to whether Wickremesinghe will get a prominent post in the future.

“ What Sri Lanka needs is a political reform similar to that of Russia in 1999 where the then Russian President Boris Yelstin appointed Vladimir Putin as the Prime Minister. Mr. Puttin performed successfully and then became the President of the nation,” Abeywardene said.

“Some of the political leaders want the present rulers to hand over the nation to them and they will perform. However things should be other way round where one has to perform first to prove themselves,” he also said. (Yohan Perera)

Nice joke. Ranil is hugely responsible for the mess we are in now. He had the chance to take the country forward in a big way between 2015-2019 and completely failed. In fact GDP growth decreased significantly, country's security was abandoned resulting in terrorist attacks, imports went up drastically, loans went up drastically, crime and drug cartels went up, law and order collapsed.

Do you have the brains to tell who stabilized the financial system which was similar to the present situation in 2015, who found concessionary aid to pay the loans taken by Rajapakshas', who reduced the petrol price and maintained it at a steady level, who tried to introduce online education, who built rural roads, upgraded rural schools and and hospitals. if you are from the mud factory of SJB or the hate based JVP, or the fraudulent SLPP ,you will not have the ability to think reasonably. Ranil has weaknesses which have harmed his political carrier. He failed to market his party and himself. He allowed people to propagate untruths about himself and insult him without hitting back and he cannot lift a baby like Mahinda. But he is the only honest statesman with a vision who really love the country and the people.

Ranil was given a chance. He unfortunately showed that he's only good at playing games. Seems he's using the dire situation of the country to play another game and short-cut his way to power. Where's the decency in appointing someone who was completely rejected by the people to lead the country? I used to be a support him quite a bit, but have lost faith.

Corona virus and Russia covert operation finally brought Sri lanka into economic destruction. Jews and Western countries never went to war wars or put down countries straights. They always chose indirect wars through other groups but recently added new feature to put down other countries which is corona virus . This the best tool they invented more recently. Sri lanka can counter but have to be ready to escalate a global war against Jews in case if they don't give up Sri lanka and continue promoting hatred against Sinhalese Buddhists with Tamil in US, Canada, Europe and other part of the world.
