The three-member panel which performed the second postmortem into the death of a 16-year-old girl who was working as a domestic aide at former minister Rishad Bathiudeen's residence, would submit a comprehensive report, Police said.
Police Spokesman SDIG Ajith Rohana said the second postmortem was performed by the panel for nearly nine hours at the Peradeniya Hospital today.
He said the body was subject to a CT scan and samples of other parts of the body were also taken for laboratory tests.
He said the body is placed at the Peradeniya Hospital mortuary until the report is submitted.
The panel consists of Prof. Jean Perera of the Faculty of Medicine - University of Colombo, Head of the Forensic Medicine Department of the Faculty of Medicine - University of Colombo Dr. Sameera Gunawardena and Dr. Prabath Senasinghe of the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital.
